    My Poetry

Rarely do two sister's get this close. Are we twins? Well we might as well be. Actually I, Cyntha am the older out of the two by just a little over a year. We were asked if we were twins all the time while we were in school. Many times I got tired of being asked that I almost just said, "Why of course we are didn't you know that?" My sister always got the brunt of it all. Why?? well let's just say they thought she was held back a year in school. Uh, those were the days. We were the typical kids. We fought like cats and dogs. But as we got older we had many of the same interests. We did almost everything together. We had many of the same groups of friends. She wasn't just a sister to me she was my best friend. Just for the record Darren and I met first. Heee..I keep telling Susan that if it hadn't been for me they would have never met. Not completely true but you know it is nice to feel like someone owes you something. You know hang the noose over the head and have something to blackmail with. I am just kidding of course. One thing you will have to learn about me is that there are many times I tease and put my foot in the mouth, so to speak. We are opposite in the fact that I am the outspoken one. Susan can be painstakingly shy. Hee...that is probably why I dated a lot more than she did. Before hubby she had only dated one other. I am jealous somewhat of that fact. It took more tries for me to find the one who would ask me to Marry him, LOL. Actually dating was fun. But I was one of those girls who got my heart broken at times. I still wonder what happened to a few of the guys that I had dated, that I had fallen in love with. Don't get me wrong. My husband is the best and I wouldn't trade him for anything. No way, no how. There was a couple other young men that a fell in love with. But the love was so much different. My husband and I couldn't be traded for the world. But I am sure there are many who understand what I mean.

Well Susan and I did the marrying in the same family. Why I wouldn't have at any other way. It made sense to me that we would fall in love with the same kinds of guys. Actually, Darren and Kevin couldn't be more opposite in personality. Darren is quiet, sensitive, and wouldn't be afraid to cry in front of anyone. Kevin is macho, but romantic, No way would he cry in front of anyone other than his wife. See in a sense we married our opposites. I am opinionated and more out spoken then Darren. Susan is quiet, shy, and down to earth. Well that is that. We are close and we love eachother with all our hearts. One big family. Our kids are like brothers and sisters too eachother. Kevin and Susan now have two beautiful boys (Zachary-almost five and Timothy-almost two and one on the way] Kenneth Was Born on September 24, 2001 weighing around 6 lb. Darren and I have three beautiful daughters [twins Myesha and Celeste Seven and Mary is Five]. Still carrying on the opposite tradition. Have a nice day.
